Bioshock
Bioshock is one of the best games of the decade because it makes anybody who plays it feel smart because it actually has a message. Especially the people like me who like to overanaylze things. I also have a different interpretation than most people who play this (It doesn't involve Ayn Rand and there is a very, very good chance mentioning it will cause a flame war that could engulf the forum, so just ask for a PM.) The gameplay and combat isn't that bad, either.
Does anybody like this game? Anybody prefer one over the other? Anybody seen the gameplay footage for Infinite? Anybody dislike this game?

Re: Bioshock
I played the demo and it wasn't bad, but I wouldn't play more than 10 minutes of it. It didn't really hold my attention and the combat seemed awkward to me.
Re:bioshock
I've only played bioshock 2 but that game held me for a long time with interest. i like the storyline and the atmosphere of the city more than i have any other game to date now, it just seemed darker and more in depth. never played the first one so i wouldn't know but now im just waiting on infinite to come out, already pre-ordered. after watching the 15 minute gameplay video i had to get it. think there might be an extra for the pre order?

Re: Bioshock
flame wars are alright as long as everything being said is factual and on topic, if people start spitting random useless comments then I will intervene but your free to speek your opinion here. I love to debate, as long as it is an intelligent debate. I dont want to see a flame war about something pointless and stupid but games are pure competition I would never outlaw debates about them
Re: Bioshock
Its one of the best games ive ever played.I love the atmosphere of the city like most people the best.

Re: Bioshock
Going to Gamestop soon. If I see it, I'll get it. Maybe I'll get both 1 and 2. Depends if Borderlands or Fallout are there as well.

It's pretty good. I loved Bioshock 2 for my first 4 playthroughs (I beat it 3 times, but stopped before beating it on my 3rd playthrough because I wanted to get the good ending.)
I have only been through Bioshock two times.
I would just pick whatever one is cheaper or whatever the retailer recommends. The first one is a little more focused on the storyline and atmosphere of Rapture, but the second one is more combat oriented since you're a Big Daddy and get to kick more ass by dual-wielding your powers and guns.

Re: Bioshock
Ok thats a no Now that you said tekken 6 on the other thread, I would like to thank you. Never occured to me to try it on pc If people are good online on xbox the pc gamers have got to be a serious challenge because of the key accessability. Gonna give it a shot tonight!GhostRecon wrote:Well its fun at first but then it start's getting more and more boring.I play it sometimes but not as much as i used to witch was like 4-5 hours a day now its more like 1-2 hours a week.GOD_wears_GUCCI wrote:Would it be worth the space on my pc recon?

Yep. You do realize that a Big Daddy in Bioshock doesn't mean anything sexual? They're big dudes in diving suits that appear on the game's cover.
The one you play as is a prototype Big Daddy called an Alpha Series, which isn't as powerful as the one on the cover of the first game, but still pretty badass because they can use more than 1 weapon and can use
Yeah, I'd suggest Bioshock 2.
