Current Events Empty Nasa Shuttle

Today they moved a shuttle from Florida to D.C. I happen to live in the middle so I got to witness this unique flight Smile Here is a photo
Its quite interesting how they get the shuttle ontop of the plane Smile and yes it flew very close to my houseCurrent Events Shuttl10

Practically the entire back end minus the cockpit area is fuel, its small but very fuel efficient for its size. the back end is coned obviously for aerodianamics but that thing gets up there in under 10 minutes I believe.
