One of the longest franchises to ever hit video games, Mario games have taken the form of almost every genre out there and STILL manage to be pretty fun and sell well. He remains one of the most recognizable video game characters and proves that a game can last 30 years on the same exact story.

So, what are your opinions on the Mario games? Do you hate them because they make absolutely no sense at all and use almost the exact same story? Or do you like them because of their gameplay? Any hilarious Mario parodies that you found?

I spent countless hours playing Mario games. Easily over hundreds and hundreds of hours. Mario 64 was the best game of them all.

I played Mari0 recently. It was strangly fun even though I never plaed Portal.

I haven't even played Galaxy 1. They look cool, but never got around to playing them.
